A Different Perspective (Hector From Cuba)
Hector was a cab driver in Cuba. He works hard to make enough for his family. I asked him if I can ask him questions about his views on Cuba and on life, and he agreed ......I asked him what are one of the things you like the most about Cuba, he says the tranquility. If their anything that all Cubans wants its tranquility. Also, there're free studies for the youth in Cuba. The medicine is free. That's one of the principle parts that he likes. Cuba has problems like anyone in the world does. You guys might have problems getting medicine for free but, we also have problems with the limited supply of food. Sometimes your a little bit more hungry than usual and you have to sacrifice to make sure your kids are eating as well. He gives me an example by saying Africa the elephants when all the food is done within there surrounding what do they do? They Migrate and that's how the people of Cuba been living because the food supply isn't enough sometimes. I asked him do all Cubans have opportunities or only some do, and he says the only way they don't have opportunities is because they didn't go out there and make them. I have my opportunities right now he says, I am on my vacation time and I am doing this cab driving as part-time. So I can keep making more, and I am able to give my kids a better life. I asked is anyone able to leave the country whenever they want. And he says No and sometimes they try to blame us he explains that he went to the united states embassy and applied to enter the united states, and they told him no. They told him, at this moment he doesn't classify for a visa. I asked him so what do you think is a classification to get an American visa? He says I don't know honestly, I don't know because they asked me how many countries have i gone to and I told them about 18. He quotes I've gone to Canada, Brazil, Argentina, Colombia, Dominica, Trinidad, Jamaica, Mexico etc. They told him the thing is, you went to those places because of work and not as a tourist. That's why they didn't give him the visa. The Cuban government told him to go to the embassy and see if America will give him the permission to come here because Cuba approved of it. A lot of people blame our government but a lot of times our government isn't the one at fault. It's the united states that won't give us the visa and if they don't approve it we can't enter. I went to these other countries before because I was a marine. The picture I posted was of him showing the application of when he applied to come to the united states and was denied.

V.I.E.W.S (CUBA) Rafael Rodriguez Erra

Rafael Rodriguez lived his whole life in Cuba. I like his story because he is so humble about his views, and about life and his country. I asked him give me the negatives and the positives of living in Cuba. He said I like the liberty i have in Cuba you can go anywhere and no one will bother you. Then I asked him what's the negative of living in Cuba, and he said to me, you know what's the negative part ill tell you, (he said for me, the negative part is the blockage that there is. That I can't go anywhere I want.) I asked him do you feel like the revolution played a big part in Cuba ?. He answers me, I am a revolutionist. He's worked for the police force for 14 years. I asked did they let you go to other countries being that you were a part of the force? He says no, he says its not allowed entering America at the moment. I asked him are there other countries that the Cuban people are allowed to get their visas to go there? He says yes were allowed to go to Venezuela, Mexico. Then I said how is the violence in Cuba he told me there a little of violence but nothing like the things that go on in the world everything is calmer. Then I asked him if we compare Batista ( Batista was the president before Fidel Castro ) but comparing Batista to Fidel do you feel like Fidel was a better leader? He says yes because Fidel helped free the people and the country and gave them free education systems and free medical benefits. Before Cuba didn't have those opportunities. How do they pay you guys? They pay us salary. There're two types of salaries he says There're high salaries and a low salary. Do you think the salaries are good enough for the Cuban people to make a living? There's a lot of salaries that aren't enough for everyday living. They give us enough to make it. I asked him do you think it's possible that one day the world will be able to UNITE? He says I believe its possible and that one day that day will come.( I smiled and gave him a high five that statement made my day!) He says i only make 320 pesos as a salary and its not enough to feed my family. I keep two jobs, so I am able to give to my family. The cost of living here doesn't match the salary it can be expensive, but you have to figure out ways to make extra income. If you have family in America your able to live better because you have some help. Also, Cuban people that have family living in Venezuela are fortunate to gain help from them. If you don't have a connection or wasn't able to leave the country then you have to figure out different ways to create income there, but he says at least in Cuba you have freedom. I told him I like how people are always willing to help each other out, and he says because were humanistic. We barely even have violence. He says i believe all human beings should have the right to do the things they wish. I asked him did you ever feel like a prisoner in your own country, and he said no because no one ever hurt me or treated me wrong here. I live with my family, and we all respect and love each other, that's the best part. Talking to him gave me a humbling perspective to life, because even tho he didn't have everything he wanted or couldn't go where ever he wanted to go he still was happy because he felt safe and loved inside of his country.

M.O.N.O.P.O.L.Y
Almost everything now has a cost, it falls into this system of monopoly that were in. Since 1971 no gold or silver have been backing up the dollar. Which means there's no real value to it because there's nothing backing it up.! Its made out of air basically. Here we the HUMANS are killing ourselves for this piece of paper with no value. Now the real question is WHY ?... How can we not see our true value. How can we be so blind. Every SINGLE person no matter what race or ethnicity you are. No matter what you are BEAUTIFUL! How can this world be coming down to so much hate to the point were you feel like you can't even trust your own family. That's insane ! We have to start realizing that we shouldn't have to compete against one another. No matter what, no one can be better than the other, because meant to be different. That's why we have different DNA's. Nothing is the same, everything changes. Who you are, is what gives you the value of how people see you. We are too Beautiful to let no value control LIFE!
